You must have a leak or something. Our 4400 sq ft house only cost $75 in gas last month.

Propane is not regulated and the companies charge an arm and a leg. VERY different than receiving a gas bill.

We have a gas furnace, gas water heater and gas fireplace in a 2300 sf house. Our gas bill last month was $81.69.

This is why we were afraid to buy a home in Belterra where it seems all the houses use propane.

I guess this ( $490 ) was for refilling your propane tank. And it can last couple months in the winter.
Not a monthly bill ? If that's for a month, absolutely there's a leak you need to check on.

Do you mind disclosing your community so we can all avoid moving there in the future?
