Used them, they were on time, prepared and hirsute.

What's not to like?

I used them before. They didn't protect doors as advertised (at the time) and I don't think they wrapped all of my wooden furniture in blankets, but everything arrived in one piece. They worked quickly.

Note: I don't trust moving services with my TV and mirrors and moved those myself.

Used them almost exactly one year ago. Pleased with the results. They handled a few large antique pieces with appropriate care and dealt with a super-skinny stairway with aplomb.(OK, I helped on the stairway; but there was definite aplomb in the air ) Would use them again!

Uh, they have 264 Yelp Reviews and a 5-star rating. Do you trust CD more than Yelp?

That said, we used them in 2010 and it was more or less about the same experience you get from any moving company. OK, but not great. It's a crap shoot no matter who you hire as it all depends on the particular crew of guys, and the industry has very high turnover.

PS - wow, the words "hirsute" and "aplomb" utilized in the same thread to describe movers. Keep the 5-star vocab coming!

Steve

If you need reviews and feel you must inquire w/ CD and not Yelp, there are -- at minimum -- 10 separate threads loaded with Square Cow reviews. Just takes 5 seconds to search "Square Cow."

I used them 3 times. As someone said you are at the mercy of the crew they send. Two times, they were great. One time it was like the crew of two had never handled furniture before.

I think they are overpriced... they wanted to charge me 165 an hour for 3 guys... i went on craigslist, found a insured bonded company that unloaded my business and house ..90 an hour they charged.. they did a good job too.

Had a terrible experience with them. Once the manager called
To try to fix the problems they couldn't even follow through on that either. Also feltmoikemthwy dragged it out to get more money. Three guys. Two actually worked the third seemed a step above special needs and did nothing but slow the other two guys down to baby sit him. Wouldn't recommend.
