I will also agree that the HEB at 620/2222 sucks. It didn't used to be bad, but in the past few years, it just seems to have been neglected. I find myself going to the one in Lakeway a lot.

Interesting. We've lived in the 4 Points area 5 years next month and I feel it's improved.

Better meats and fish for sure. Improved wine selections. Bought Chickpea flour there last night. I don't think they had that 4 years ago.

Gary is the store director. Nice guy. Always willing to listen to suggestions.

That said, the Lakeway store is great and I'm that way often enough.

Dry aged beef. Better fish dept. Anad the wine guys/gals rock!

I don't think anyone ever moved to Steiner to avoid traffic.

Think about Liberty Hill or way up Ronald Reagan for some of the newer hill country neighborhoods if you want some breathing room and to stay in the NW Austin area. Those roads in Williamson County have been stubbed out decades in advance of the future traffic needs. The opposite of Austin and Travis County.

Take a day off and drive the route yourself and see if you can tolerate all the idiots.
