Read on another board that there is a massive wreck on I-35 southbound near Jarrell. The poster said he had been stuck there for 5 hours.

Ugh. Haven't moved the cars since Saturday, although we did run one for a while on Tuesday as our charging station.

We have had pavement showing in a couple of spots on the neighborhood streets since Tues or Wed (whenever we last got sun), but they are surrounded by huge sheets of compressed ice.

Looks like I will be out of water for many days - the melting snow is my last chance for potty water .

Watch out for potholes. There are some new potholes on the road.

183 in Leander / Cedar Park was seemingly cleared up a bit yesterday as most of the pavement was visible but still very slick. I actually managed to find a Hibachi restaurant that was open last night at 7pm. Was pretty shocked, that certainly didn’t stop me from ordering a to-go.

My water came back at about 20 - 25% capacity. It’s very hard water (and boil notice) but I have it and no broken pipes so I guess that’s good.

79 clear. My neighborhood is still a treacherous minefield and the roads outside of it are marginally better.

My son and his family (gf & 2 dogs) just left our house in Brushy Creek to drive back via 79 to their home on the north side of Hutto. Their neighbor said the power came on yesterday.
