Clark's or Perla's. same owners. Slight variations in menu.

Freshest east coast/west coast oysters in Austin, IMHO.

I dont really like trulucks.

I like garbos lobster rolls though they are way $$

I like papadeaux for cajun seafood (though I always get catfish).

eddie v's is usually very good.

I get salt and pepper lobster from new fortune, sometimes overcooked

A lot of people would say quality seafood, which has been fine but it is basic simple seafood.

Evangeline on Brodie Lane in South Austin. Thay have really good authentic Cajun food.

Catfish Parlor on Manchaca Road in South Austin. Best catfish restraunt in Austin, in my opinion.

I realize there are many new seafood restaurants which are likely way above the level of the older Austin seafood establishments. And priced accordingly. But this is my list, that hasn’t changed in the last 15 years: Cherry Creek (south Austin), Quality Seafood (central), Pacific Star (NW).

And I know I’ll get berated for this, but Red Lobster does a pretty amazing job of bringing decent seafood to anywhere, USA. I wouldn’t turn down a dinner there.

I’m not including sushi/sahimi/poke restaurant recommendations, of which I have several favorites. I figured if that was the type of seafood you were looking for you would have said it.
