Pictures of Westlake, West Austin, and the Hill Country
I am preparing to move to Austin (Westlake) in a few months. In the process of researching Austin I have some great pictures of the hill country I would like to share. Please add your hill country/ west Austin pictures as well! I hope you guys enjoy.

Nice pic's, however...seeing how much stripping of the hills is happening for more and more development is just making me sad. Especially the next to the last picture.

I agree Love Roses, I think the pictures are great, but it makes me so sad seeing all of the roof lines. On my trip to Austin last week, I went out to Dripping Springs, and I was so sad. Why would you want a house on top of a hill where all you see is other people's roofs? What happened to the hills?

Its seems that this may be a very unpopular opinion here, but I like how the hills around Austin in those photos look alive. A neat combination of built environment and natural landscape. Could you drive 30 mins or so west and be in undeveloped hill country?
