For a relatively big name like that, it will be at least $10. It could be more.

I went a few months ago and it was $10 and their normal band was playing. So, not sure what it would be like with a bigger name.

Probably $12.00. When my friend, Dale Watson, plays--there is a $12.00 cover. So probably the same for Bruce.
Here is the link...their phone # is at the very bottom. Give James White a holler and ask him what the cover will be.

Hey their phone # copied into the link! You don't even have to look at the link, unless you want to see who all is playing during the months of June/July!

I won't spend more than $15 to see Bruce, unless I knew Kelly was along with him. I can't dance anyway, so spending that much to embarrass myself on the dance floor doesn't sound very appealing. I just want to listen to some live Texas music without spending too much.

I don't think it will be over $15.00.

Hey TG@H

I guess you've been there a few times before. How crowded does it get on a Saturday night? If people are going to be packed like sardines, I best get there early so I can be close to the stage. What's the atmosphere like? Food any good? Are most people that go in their twenties?

I've been there too many times to count! There are all ages there! People from their 20's up to 80's. I imagine Bruce will draw a nice crowd so I would get there by 9. Now, if you would like, you can go to the dance lesson at 8 pm. Terri White (the owner's daughter) teaches dance lessons. They cost $8.00. I sat on the side where all the tables are and just watched for free!

Food is your regular bar food. Our burgers were good. Their chicken fried steak is supposed to be really good. I never tried it.

The stage is at the bottom of the big square wooden dance floor. Then there are tables on each side of the dance floor.

The atmosphere is great! And as James White says (the owner) ..."We aren't fancy but we're damn sure country!" The place--I have NO IDEA how it passes inspection!! But I sure have a good time when I am there!
