I'm having trouble believing my eyes. My rain gauge shows about 1" of rain so far this morning, most of it in the last 30 minutes.

In the Legend Oaks, Circle C area.

I am in close-in south central Austin and yes, the rain has been beautiful! Amazing! I would think that we also got near an inch, and I hope more to come.

There's flash flood warnings for pretty much everywhere south of Austin right now. Apparently something about five inches of rain. If only it comes this far north! I'll take floods if it'll break the drought.

It's been raining in SW Austin for what seems like 3 straight hours now. Nothing too hard, some thunder and lightning around 1:30pm, but just a nice steady rain.

El Nino baby!

Yeah, just a couple of drops here in my part of RR - barely enough to wet the grass!
