New transplants with three little kids. I am wondering what the closest ER is and the closest hospital to Steiner. Also any recommendations for peditrians, family doctor, dentist, and obgyn. I know these questions have been asked before and I have looked at the threads. Thank you for your help!!

There is a doc-in-a-box ER near 620 & Pecan Park (basically Lakeline Mall area)... also may be another small ER in Lakeway.

But the closest major hospital that is Seton Northwest (183/Braker).

Spent 3 1/2 hours is the Seton NW ER last Friday and had the best experience. Well, best I could for a hospital visit Amazing nursing staff and for being busy busy Dr. Gordon was still amazing.

Also, for dentist I'll recommend Northwest Hills Smiles on Steck. I've been so lucky with these 2 places, now I need to find a primary physician.

Hi! Fellow "Rancher" here.

SETON Northwest is the closest hospital. St. David's North Austin Medical Center is not much further. I have had experience with both and was happy both times.

They are building a pretty large medical complex in Lakeway - just to be called Lakeway Medical Center. I think it is supposed to be completed in 2012. So that will soon be the closest hospital.

The only doctor I'm crazy enough about to recommend is our pediatrician. Her name is Dr. Paige Suffredini, and she is at Austin Diagnostic Clinic across from North Austin Medical Center. Absolutely LOVE her.
