Small package shipments to Australia? (price, moving, post office)

Have to send a few 30lbs. 16"x12"x10" boxes to OZ. What is a lesser expensive manner than USPS? USPS is about $165/box.

Need an alternative.

That's actually a pretty good rate to be sending that weight/volume. It's generally pretty difficult to beat the price of the Post Office, unless you are prepared to go onto a contract with a Fedex/TNT.
