Do shows such as "Jerry Springer" "Maury Povich" etc etc have an equivalent show in Australia?
These types of shows use to be even more popular in the US in the late 90s, early 2000s with Ricky Lake/ Jenny Jones etc etc but Jerry Springer & Maury are the couple that are still around here.

Do they even show these "trash talk shows" in Australia?

Australia tends to produce soapies like Home and Away and Neighbours and a variety of other TV series and reality shows. A recent phenomenon are those police and border patrol shows that follow the working lives of cops and customs offices etc. We don't have a big film industry so there aren't many aussie movies.

Our TVs are dominated by American shows btw....we definately get Jerry Springer, Ricky Lake, Judge Judy, Maury Povich etc and all those sitcoms, crime dramas and reality shows.

Lol but in that case the hosts are the 'entertainment.'

I think the Jerry Springer type format is uniquely American. Can't think of any British equivalents either.
