Petrol Cheaper in Australia , well very true hmmm

NOW lets add balance.

- You tend to drive twice as far (bigger cities easy to believe)
-Toll roads here in QLD are ridiculously priced.
-Registering your car is nearly twice the price as NZ.

Overall we definitely pay more for transport in Australia than we did in NZ, and then you have to factor in longer commute times which eats into that wage advantage people bleet on about.

While we are here

-Rates are generally higher in Australia
-Electricity is more expensive
- Paying for water, unheard of in many parts of NZ

Stop cherry picking stuff Samuel J, its as bad as the chick in that blog.

Here's another article about Aroha Spashett

Community back Aroha - politics - national | Stuff.co.nz

This part made me laugh, I think John Key was channelling his inner Victor Kruger when he made this remark

Quote:

In the One News leaders' debate, Key said only 80 New Zealanders left for Australia, 50 the month before.
"I know their names," he said.
