Was that an insult to you?? really...does that bother you?? wow...I can`t picture my Australian co-worker as a rude person...
This thread is not about relocating to Australia, it is about going from the US to New Zealand. Most of us who have made comments are in fact New Zealanders who know what we are talking about.

If Lucara wasnt American I would not have tried to help her...

NZealanders are so rude.

How silly to make a statement that all kiwis are rude. Have you met every single kiwi? No they are not rude. They are just pointing out the errors in your statements -- who better to provide information than kiwis? If I was looking for advise on living in Aotearoa the best people to provide advice are kiwis or from people who have gone through the migration process for NZ. I would not rely on erroneous information constantly posted by armchair yanks from far away.

While I appreciate that you are only trying to help your fellow Americans, it might pay to stick to what you know i.e. answering questions on immigrating to the US or Miami. I also think the OP will probably be able to judge for themselves as to what is useful information and what is not.

FYI - NZ and Australia are separate countries with separate governments. Maybe check and see if that CIA website has a world map?
