Its sad what is happening to so much racing. Its becoming more show business. F! went to fuel stop passing .to using tires to promote differen ces to get passing.to aero advantage to following car.CART number of poush to pass. Now NASCAR to traqiler racig and mileage rqacing. Less and less rwcing .I agree with what Jimmy Johnson said to his chef on the save gas all the time. let them go head to head on speed and abilty to control that speed.Otherwsie it will endup like wrestling;pure entertainment only.
Tony is amazing how he seems to get hot at the right times. I like the new "Smoke" since he became Owner/Driver. Not sure if he can keep his hot streak going, but like someone said earlier there's no time better to start winning than in the Chase.
It would be great to see Smoke win the championship! Never thought an Owner/Driver would win another title after Alan Kulwicki in 1992. (Although, Stewart is certainly helped by his aliance with Hendrick Motorsports).
Still hoping the 24 can climb back to the top too!
i'd like to see a first time winner. Edwards, kosoloski, newman, bush, hamlin
jr!!!
