Look is the keyword there my friend. Unless there is some ungodly great discount on them, I doubt I'll be pulling the trigger! If I can get one for $40K out the door then it will be in my garage by next week.
Plan to finish the head gasket job on my Scirocco this weekend. Head's on, just need to hook all the "stuff" up. Good thing I like working in the garage, or else I would not be a happy camper...

Been on business travel so I am behind on everything...
Well, I'm going to take it easy this weekend. Just had my gall bladder yanked out yesterday. Feelin' pretty chipper nonetheless. Will hit a few yard sales and see if anyone has a nice set of 31s for my Ranger.
Swapping a much bigger factory 460 radiator in my pickup. I figured I pached up the leaking original 400 radiator long enough and since I plan to put a 460 in this pickup when the 400 peters out, I decided to put a new and massive 460 four row desert cooler radiator in it now. Very humid here too so I expect to sweat a lot to put it in.
It's been so hot and humid here lately, when it's not raining, and it doesn't matter if it's DC or New York as the weather is following me. This weekend I have to go car shopping with my friend, which should be interesting, since she has no clue what type of car she wants, much less a brand or number of doors.
And, to think I stayed in DC this weekend to help with this project of hers, and also to attend a performance. Somewhere along the way, I got the bright idea to tackle a project for the Northern Virginia forum that's needed by many looking to relocate, and kept me out in the hot air and sunshine a lot this week. I am a glutton for punishment, but the results will be worth it on all counts, I think.
Have a great weekend, everybody! Drive safely. I say this nearly being run down, and no not in a car, by a self-absorbed Prius driver fiddling with a GPS instead of paying attention to lights and pedestrians...ugh!
