I was walking home from the market and from a distance I saw a car with vertical opening doors..it was a ugly Monte Carlo.
As I got closer I pulled out my Iphone and attempted to act as if I did not see the car. I did not want the driver to see me looking at his car. He may have thought I was looking because I liked it.
The driver had the car parked with both doors open. I can tell he thought his car was the best thing since Google to come along.
That was down right ugly.
People are so tackey. He probably calls the doors "Lamborghini doors" as opposed to vertical retracting doors. Most of those guys that pimp out cars don't know sh*t about cars. Even their paint jobs look like crap. They don't even strip the car, prep it and paint the entire car. They just paint the outter shell. And raise the car with rims.
Man, there was nothing nice about that car.
This guy probably thinks he's the coolest guy driving.
Yep, suicides are typical on very old 1930's era vehicles...they've recently reappeared on the Rolls Royce Drop Head Coupe.
They've been on the RR sedans since 2003. I saw one at a Cars and Coffee event this morning. The owner was showing how it would open and close electrically.
I certainly would never do it, but has anyone ever done front and back lambo doors with the rear suicide doors?
There is a novelty to suicide doors, but I can't say what I'd want them on. Granted the only way I'd want a newer Monte Carlo was if it was a Earnhart or Gordon clone, and even then I wouldn't want it much.

Yeah, that climbing through the window would get old after a while!
