I love watching this video and listening to the engine sounds of this C5. Makes me smile .

Hahaha !! I actually raced a Lamborghini Diablo once in my old Audi Quattro !

It was in the middle of the night, on a little deserted road in the Scottish borders. Granted, if it had longer straights, I wouldn't have kept up, but this guy just could not get away from me, no matter what he did !

If I'd been younger, and more reckless, I had a couple of chances to overtake, but I decided I was only having fun, so I'd just keep him pegged !

Great bit of sport, both drivers really enjoyed it, and my then g/f was extremely impressed !!

Once we reached the motorway, he pulled away from me, but not as fast as he might have expected. He slowed, gave me a big wave of appreciation, then left at the next exit.

Glad I didn't video it tho. Too many folks here are being prosecuted through the videos.

I must be old.

All I could think was "wow, what retards". I hope they get caught and get a dose of reality, consideration for others lives around them and lose their driving privlage, because they obviously aren't responsible enough to drive on roads with other people.

I'm not old and I completely agree with you. Those two were morons.

So the C5 guy has a camera mounted in his car - it was obviously centered and not hand held. I suppose he looks for street contests like this? What a tool.

As good as the C5 sounds, it won't sound as good as the Ferrari.

Guess I'm the bad guy at CD today for posting a video. Yea, they're both dumb and I would never do that but I still enjoy the hell out of that video.

I have to disagree with you there. Some Ferrari models sound too whiny. V10-V12s just don't have the timing and exhaust note I love.

This:

Vs This:

YouTube - Corvette C6 Z06 Very loud rev!! Great sound!! - Aftermarket exhaust -

No comparison.

I think the Vette driver was actually the aggressive one here. Trying to show off. In a real race I'll place my $ on the Ferrari in a second
