Wow, very low miles on that '72 Chevy wagon! I wish my '76 limousine had 47,000 miles!
1996 Suburban 1500 4WD - 184,600 miles. Purchased Feb 06 with 113,200 miles on it. Nowadays I'm only putting about 500 miles a month on it since I'm a retired old lady and stay home a lot.
Runs like it is still new (except for it being tuned). Should get 200,000 out of it easily. I went and looked at a new Mercedes and BMW the other day. Liked them a lot, but still like the SAAB better.
I don't plan on replacing either any time soon. It is amazing how much better cars/trucks are made these days. I remember as a teen in the '70's I worded at a service center and 80,000 was a lot of miles, took a picture as the odometer turned over 100,000 on my Mustang. Now just look at the mileage figures in this thread, everyone is getting 100,000 easily, or they will when the time comes.
