2002 Mazda Protege 5-speed manual. Nothing out of the ordinary, yet not as generic as Civic or Corolla (and I used to have a Civic). I have nothing against them, but I no longer have the smug, "Hondas/Toyotas are the best" type thinking, now that I've been on the other side of the fence for a few years. With some exceptions, the car is as good as the owner who takes care of it. Personally I think Mazda stick shifts are more fun to drive—and not because of their commercials.

Some day I'll upgrade, but I'm not set on a certain car right now.

2012 Jaguar XJL.

Have owned it for 16 months and have put 14k miles on it so far, many of which occurred on two cross-country trips between Las Vegas and Miami Beach (2500 miles each way). Getting ready to make a third trip later this month.

'08 X5. Kids are starting kindergarten buses in Sept. and right now the only reason I drive anywhere is to take them to camp. I'm pretty much going to have to make up reasons to get out of the house.
