And how many Mercedes, BMW, Audi owners are able to wrench on their cars? Not a whole lot.
that is true too.....BUT I would surmise many toyota, ford, accord, GM, etc owners tend not to bring their cars to dealership as much...& bring to indeps or jiffy lube for oil changes. The older cars are even less inclined to bring it to a dealership.

Heh..part of the reason I drive a normal/bland/basic/non-expensive/whatever-you-want-to-call-it truck as my daily is specifically to cull out people like that. The vehicle I take out on first dates is, well, frankly a POS. It's done it's job quite well numerous times - "Gee...I don't know that I can be with a guy that drives a car like that..." My favorite one was the gal that spent most of the first date complaining about how she doesn't make enough money as a teacher, and the brand new fully loaded Mustang GT she recently bought is bleeding her dry financially...yet, she can't be with a guy without a car payment because he chooses to drive a cruddy car to West Gate....
