I was able to get a few of my easier to obtain dream cars, jeep cj7, 79 z28, 69 vette, 62 grand prix (currently have it)....my next goal is a bit more lofty though, I want a Pantera. I should not have waited, could have bought a nice one for 30-40k earlier this millennium, but bought the 69 vette and now the Pantera's are in the 60-80k range. I might not make the finish line, but really hope to lol.
Since I laid my hands on the original Gran Turismo for PSX, I've always wanted one of these:
99 Mitsubishi 3000GT VR4 - RED
The rest of my "dream cars" aren't really dream cars but small pieces in my "dream collection" of epitome cars
4x4 pickup, rwd sporty car, fwd sporty car, etc. I have/had a few already...
The funny thing is, I thought my dream car was a Porshe 911 until I got one and realized the steering was too tight and it was too low to the ground, maintenance was expensive, etc... So I was able to attain my dream car and it turned out that while yes the car was awesome AF, all the other crap that goes with it made it not as awesome as I thought it would be. Traded it in for an Acura that is smooth, luxurious, etc and cant be happier I will never look at cars the same after that experience and glad it happened that way.

I think you would have enjoyed it a lot more if you had another car as a daily driver. I don't know any 911 guys that just have that, they've all got a sedan or SUV to complement it.
I probably wouldn't enjoy my car as much if I didn't have an SUV to drive also, as you said, it doesn't ride as rough, isn't as low to the ground, etc. But, it also doesn't put a smile on my face like the 911 does either.

I agree! The car turned heads and was awesome but I had no DD and no way to lug stuff around ,etc. I think next time I decide to get another sports car like that I will be prepared, at least I hope so LOL
The Ford GT is the winner there! Easy on maintenance, easy on mechanical parts and limited 2 year production. If I won big lottery money I would buy a 2006 w/heritage paint (gulf blue/orange). A zero mile 4 option 2005 just sold at Barrett Jackson for 250K (150K new) so they are still pulling strong money.
I love my Charger and my Fiero. So I guess they both would be my attainable dream cars, since I chose to attain them.
