My first car was an 1974 Opel Manta Rallye. It was that baby poo yellow and had the flat black hood. I bought it off the show room floor and paid cash. It was less than $4000.00 My sister test drove it for me because I had not yet learned to drive a stick. It took no time at all to become proficient enough to enter some autocross competitions. My boyfriend at the time had an Opel GT and I won 4 competitions that he also had entered. She handled SO well! Awesome German engineering!

Lord how I miss that car!

Mine was a 1958 Chrysler Windsor, and I also had Earl paint it, but I paid $39.95.

1976 Dodge Charger - loved the car but it was a piece of junk. Nothing but problems being your typical Chrysler product.
