Bought used car from dealership - what if they don't file our registration paperwork before current registration expires

Read you registration which came in the mail. It may list the specific fees and amounts that registration covered. Next reread your sales paperwork to make sure it was all for registration/tags/tile and not a portion for taxes. So, what does your sale paperwork say and what does your received registration say?
