Which car brand is your daily driver? Honda Accord coupe, Ford F-150

Which brands do you like? Ford, VW, BMW, Audi
Which brands have you had trouble with? Jeep, Chevrolet
What do you like about your brand?
Ford - great (and growing) roster of performance models at a range of price points, willing to take engineering risks (aluminum F-150)
VW - honestly, only the GTI does it for me. But what an awesome vehicle it is. Will likely replace my F-150 soon.
BMW/Audi - just love the solid, Germanic feel of their vehicles. Although BMW sadly has lost the plot on a number of its cars.

Do you wish to own a certain brand one day? Porsche, Ferrari
Did you buy your car new or used? Both new. Next car will likely be new, but keeping an eye open for good used deals.

My daily driver is a Mazda 3

Brands I like are:VW,Mazda,Subaru,Honda,Audi ,Volvo,Hyundai
Trouble with: Ford

I like Mazda because they drive great and are good on gas. I put 25k a year on so I need good mpg

I'd love a Ferrari but even if I had the money I doubt I would spend that much on a car, I would rather invest it in something else like real estate

I have bought most my cars brand new and usually get a new one every 3 years.

Which car brand is your daily driver? Mitsubishi

Which brands do you like? *shrug*

Which brands have you had trouble with? I've only owned Suzuki, Mitsubishi, and Mazda. The Suzuki gave me the most problems, but it was a Samurai, and the problem was that I burned out the catalytic converter over and over. I mean, I don't think it even had 70 hp.

What do you like about your brand? (Safety, tech., efficiency, design etc.) I've owned two Mitsubishis. I've driven them for a combined 19 years and 380,000 miles, and it's been a great brand for me. I drove my first one into the ground, and it was burning oil by year 7, with 200,000 miles on the odometer. But I was young and stupid didn't take care of it at all. My current Mitsu has been babied since the day I drove it off the lot, and even with 180K on the odometer, it's still reliable and still in great shape, physically and mechanically. I also love that it's a wagon. Perfect for hauling my dogs around.

Do you wish to own a certain brand one day? My next car -- probably in 2018 or 2019 -- will be a different brand because Mitsu just isn't selling what I want, but I haven't settled. I love wagons, so I'm leaning toward a Volvo or Audi.

Did you buy your car new or used? Of the 4 cars I've driven since I was 16....
1st car (1987) - 1987 Suzuki Samurai: Father bought new;
2nd car (1993) - 1993 Mitsubishi Eclipse: I bought new.
3rd car (2000) - 1992 Mazda Miata: I bought used. I didn't shop around. I needed a car, and my husband's friend was selling his Miata for $8,000. Done. **least favorite car**
4th car (2004) - 2004 Mitsubishi Lancer Sportback: I bought new **favorite car**

The transmissions have a reputation. I worked for a Ford dealer, and the going rate was about 75K miles per transmission, on average.

Yep, but consider that the mustang at the time wasn't exactly a beast. However, yesterday on the way home from work I saw several Ford Probe's. I did not see any 90-93 mustangs. So your assertion that they are never seen isn't exactly correct, or was that another poster?
