Shouldn't this, and other performance cars, have a special key or switch to restrict performance for when they use valet parking or let someone else drive?

It's not 100k it's 200k + so lets get that straight first. Second, serious issue as this has been documented on many occasions already

Such a high tech POS! Can't even rev it up without catching fire. Never saw a purpose of those cars any way. They sound like little buzzing bees and cost a lot of money because they have an Italian name. Whippy doo doo.

That being said, if I had a car worth gobs of cash I don't think I'd want it parked by a valet. I'm sure most are decent but there are also going to be those who are there to screw around. That's what young people do. Hell some of us middle aged farts would do it as well as we refuse to grow up.

The purpose is to be performance cars for people who want ultimate road car performance and style. They aren't for boring wallflower type people. if you are equating them to a basic Honda or Toyota, then you're doing it wrong. Try driving on in it's intended environment sometime.

Oh, and yes, you can rev them up without catching fire. Such ignorance in this thread.

It really looks like fumes catching on fire while watching the ignition in slow motion.

Yes, the unburned fuel in the fumes catches on fire, but what's the NEXT thing ignited in the first video? A piece of plastic or carbon fiber trim?

Wonder if the Audi R8 V-10 has the same issue as the V-10 Lambo's or is it just an issue on their V-12 Flagship models?

Ferrari is at the top of the food chain, or at least the Italian exotic food chain. Lamborghini and all the rest of them are also-rans.
