Driving home from work around midnight hear what sounds like a blown tire. Pull over tires weren't deflated. Kept driving sound was gone. Get home grab a flashlight look under my car see what was up. Part of headphone wires was wrapped around the inside of the back wheel of my car.
Pulled the wire out will have to see of any damage. Really stunk and odd.
On the news tonight they said that a manhole inspector lost his head in a freak accident. Said he was wearing some headphones when he popped his head up and didn't hear your vehicle coming.

Quoted in case the op comes on tomorrow, sober, and tries to delete his post after seeing the damage and the hit and run on the news that happened last night.
