Beat me to it. King are the absolute top , but very expensive. I think Walker Evans are made in the US.
Best, maybe, for one very specific market. Even if they made them (which they don't), I wouldn't buy any for my cars. I'd take made in Japan Tein 10 times out of 10 for them - even though they don't make anything for my Lotus I think Spax is made in the UK
Bilstein is owned by ThyssenKrupp, never knew that. Bought in 88. Still German naturally.
I wonder if Eibach still makes everything in Germany...

For sports cars, Penske makes shocks, and I thought KYB was US made. Not sure where they rank though.
There's no epidemic of shocks going bad prematurely no matter the brand, is there? I have never replaced a shock.
I put new Bilstein shocks on my truck a few years ago. Lasted about two years before they started leaking. This time up I think I will pay someone tpo put on Moroes with a lifetime warranty. That way when they inevitably start leaking I cna just have them replaced.
However I live in Michigan. We drive on potholes and dream of roads.

I've had at least two Bilstein shocks replaced under warranty.

To be clear, those Bilstein shocks failed for good reasons: heavy loads and badly potholed roads. My only complaint is that I'd like a slightly softer ride. But I'm not sure if something like Koni Reds would hold up under my current conditions and requirements.

Unfortunately, I bought them on Amazon.
That is a lot of leaky Bilstein. I thought they were supposed to be the highest quality shocks, but I keep running into people who have to replace them over and over.

I think the quality is fine. I regularly haul a lot of weight (600-700 pounds or more) over bad roads.
