I was at a Honda stealership this morning and test drove a 2016 Accord EX-L 4 for $21831.00 4cynlinder with 30k miles and it has a big dent on it. I told them I have a email for the same car from another dealership for $20500 with 25k miles with no dent. The sales manager did not want to match the $20500 because fixing the dent would cost $300 and the sticker price is already below market price.
So I left. The other car is white which is my 2nd choice. Should I hold off on contacting the Honda dealer?

Honda dealers are not as willing to negotiate and go below market as others. They will sell it to someone if you don’t buy it, and they know it. If it was a Ford, Chevy, or other dealer they would be more likely to work with you.

That price is just nuts for a 4-cylinder Accord. Don't get me wrong, great car, I had an '07 EX-L coupe 4-cylinder and traded it in on a Pilot.
Keep looking, you can find a better deal. I was actually looking to buy an Accord V-6 but just couldn't pass up the deal I got on '14 Avalon XLE Premium. It only cost me $22K in '16 with only 4K miles on it. The car was and still is pristine. I could probably still get that for it two years and 10K miles later.
You have time on your side.
And, +1 in regards to used car prices in the post-C4C world.
