OK and what happens when it predicts wrong, and you don't turn after the car has signaled everyone else that you were going to?

Not using signals is a massive problem in Fla. I've never seen it as bad, as in this state. I'm for any technology that attempts to deal with this problem.

My view is these type drivers, are low quality types to begin with. Where I live is street after street of 4 way stop signs. These no signal people won't even use the signal, in these type situations.

Get them the hell off the road period, is actually the better solution. However if technology improves this mess. Do it.

This is my fix for those in front of me who don't use their turn signals.

I wish there was something that would force drivers to take a nasty dump in their pants if they don't use turn signals.

Totally agreed signals is a communication tool to tell other peoples what you intend to do.

I usually throw the blinker on, wait a couple seconds and then move. Sometimes, unfortunately, that results in said idiot in the lane next to me to hit the gas and close the gap. That's why I stopped wondering why people no longer use their turn signal.
Fellow Bostoner! That's a Bostonian's way of telling, not asking you, what they are going to do.

IMO, a blinking light on the corner of a vehicle means only three things: The bulb is good, and the flasher relay works, and the wiring is adequate.
Oh, and the vehicle just MIGHT make a turn, sooner or later, but not necessarily in the direction indicated by the flashing light.

A couple weeks ago I was behind this guy in a pickup that had his right blinker on for THREE MILES.

Then he turned his blinker off, and turned right.

Good job buddy
