Yet again, an aggressive, angry, foul-mouthed driver has made me fearful of leaving my house in a car. Why must people behave this way? My transgression was going the speed limit on the neighborhood street that passes my house. No, I did not cut him off. He came around a corner like a bat out of hell and pulled right up to my bumper yelling obscenities at me to get out of the way. What the heck is wrong with people today?

Seems to me people are over worked and over stressed. Mornings and around 5 are when the super aggressive people come out.

No, it's actually one of many, many times that I've witnessed something like this because my kitchen window faces a busy neighborhood street, and it's happened to me personally quite a few times. This is just the latest incident. My neighborhood is plagued with these *******s, and they don't even live here. They just use the neighborhood as a cut through to avoid traffic on the surrounding roads. On the bright side, our local sheriff's department is very responsive to complaints, so with any luck, they'll be out tonight to calm traffic and things will improve at least temporarily.

I understand....but I just blow-off all the dummies. I cannot "compete" with people who want to cut me off as soon as they see my turn-signal. I am driving a big, slow, old, cumbersome van and I just let people do as they wish, I will just wait until I can safely make my maneuver. Tailgate me, fine.....do whatever nonsense you like, I will laffff.

I bet you also complain about the potholes. Tell your council to stop repairing the streets, and the shortcut problem will take care of itself.

There is nothing wrong with reporting potholes...are you under the impression city workers just drive around randomly looking for them?

Not sure why the OP is getting such hateful responses...seems like a legitimate concern if it is happening often and there could potentially be children in the area.

No, I don't complain about potholes, Cebuan. Denver drivers are obnoxious. Why on earth is it necessary to wave your arms at scream FU at someone going the speed limit through a residential neighborhood? This kind of behavior has become alarmingly routine in my area, and it's not teenagers. It's most often a middle-aged man.

i usually ignore those types of drivers that rant about everything if you hold them up. let them blow off steam as long as they dont try to harm you. at that point it becomes a problem.
