I have a 2011 Nissan Versa hatchback. I went to a rally a while back and everyone was touting their horns. I kept hitting the horn and it fizzled out never came back. So, I am not sure if I broke something inside the steering wheel or if the horn just burnt out. Has this happened to anyone before? I saw a video on YT that shows how to check the voltage of the wires that lead to the horn but it involves taking a good part of the front end off of the car.

It could be any number of things. The horn itself could have gone out the circuit could have shorted out the switch.
I would start with the horn itself. Touch a live wire to it and see if it honks if it does it's not that. The switch is the next easiest. Do a continuity test when it is on. A simple test light will help you here. If that isn't the problem now you have to chase the circuit.
Get the classic bumper sticker,
"Horn broken, watch for finger."
I hurt my hand once, and tried to find one that said, "Finger broken, listen for horn.". No luck.
