Very recently have I developed an interest in tire design and tire manufacturing

Now granted I haven't read or watched a lot of content on the essence behind tire engineering and tire manufacturing

But I do enjoy looking sometimes at the certain constructions of various tires, especially thicker, wider and larger tires. I don't know why, but minivan tires fascinate me the most in terms of design and construction

That being said, is this career path worth it? Which tire brand is the most competitive in the market? I am looking at a tie between Bridgestone and Good Year

Thnx

Its going to take an enormous amount of money and you'll have to deal with a lot of entrenched competition, better route would be to aim for eg;developement engineer in an already established company/

But.....You will certainly need a lot more than a high school education, even then, a great GPA to even be considered!

Just watch the movie Tucker The Man and His Dream, he tried to make his own cars but the Big 3 automakers crushed him. Same thing will happen if you try to become a tire manufacture Goodyear, and Firestone and others will crush you. You need millions to start a tire manufacture company.

Get an engineering degree first, and then a business degree.
It would help if you are good at sales as well.

To run a company like that, you need to know all the ropes.
