It's not ignored. You obviously didn't read OP posts.
She CAN'T use any chemicals to fumigate or spray the car interior due to severe allergies and health problems.

Default Update 2...

Went to Walmart & bought one of the Repel pump sprays (Max Sportsman, I think... contains DEET), cuz there's no odor. And, even after an accident... I opened the top to take a whiff, didn't screw the top back on properly & it spilled all over my hand. I purposely didn't wipe it off to see if I had any reaction & continued shopping... an hour later & I was fine-ish... my main problem is avoiding asthma attacks.

Truth be told, I washed my hands once back at the hotel & the hand it spilled on is tingly & my fingers are swollen, but not horribly so (still, 2-hrs later)... meaning, I'd rather it not be directly on my skin, but at least it's not burning, itching, red or disturbing breathing.

I'm staying here 'til Wed morning, so sprayed the entire front carpeting & seat. It does say it kills mosquitoes so I'm sure they'll be gone soon, if not already.

I don't know what to spray inside the hotel, so I'll let it go for now. I see spiders now & again, but I can't spray everything or I might be pushing my luck, breath wise... there's still 1 mosquito left inside... maybe I can smush it later. But, I am on the 1st floor & they just cut the grass outside so bugs of all sorts are aflyin' out there, so the door will remain closed for the night.

In any event, hopefully that helps. If I'm still getting bitten, I'll spray the outside of my pants, shoes & socks & hope that helps & will continue to spray the carpeting since that's where I've seen the congregation of vampires.

Fingers crossed... well, swollen fingers.

ETA: 2.5-hrs later & my heart is beating fast... my fingers are more tingly & swollen... must be the spray. So, I'll just hope for the best with the car. I think keeping windows & doors tightly closed will be best. Now I recall why I don't like being in nature... in cities I only have to worry about rats, pigeons & the occasional serial killer. Those I can handle...

Since you travel a lot, and sometimes sleep in motels, you might want to buy this:

Lol. I'll pass. I'll be off the road soon. It can't come soon enough.

Squished 2 mosquitoes in the hotel room tonight after a few bites. I'm at peace for the night, finally. My hand is still tingling from the spilled repellent this afternoon, so I'll have to be careful with that pump spray. Will only spray the carpeting in the car... nothing else & only if I see the swarm again.

Oh & I bought a couple extra pairs of long pants today... that should help, I hope.
