I’ve never seen a Chinese part on a car. Maybe the plastic that made the housing for an electronics module or something, but most parts I see are made in NAFTA countries unless it’s an import, then it’ll have some from their native countries.
Why have a robot in China make a part when you can have a robot here make the same part without the shipping cost? Labor cost are not a concern in an automated factory.

So you've never seen cheap Chinese aftermarket parts sold on ebay? Or even in parts stores as their bargain basement priced parts? Or worse, counterfeit aftermarket parts sold in original boxes? Where have you been? In the BMW world there are tons of issues with cheap chinese knockoffs of more expensive OEM parts. Suspension parts that crack after only a thousand miles, bearings that fail quickly (I bought a cheaper water pump for my 740iL and it turned out to be Chinese. Lasted all of a month before failing. Bought the more expensive OEM one and lasted for the rest of my ownership years). This situation exists for most makes out there, too.

That sounds like a counterfeit aftermarket issue. Something in EBay could be from anywhere.

OP is about OEM parts that are chinese - not the after market. Not sure what brand is making OEM parts in china - I haven't seen any.
Well, the last factory part I got from Honda said “Assembled in USA”. Given that it’s a one-piece casting with a bit of machining, I’m not exactly sure what that means.

I wasn't responding to the OP, I was responding to Ziggy who said he'd never seen a Chinese part on a car. And there are a LOT of Chinese parts for cars, both OEM and aftermarket. A lot of the electronics in modern cars is sourced from China, much like the electronics in iPhones are. That can be good and bad for quality, with most aftermarket parts made in China being bad.
But it seems like brakes and suspension parts are also made in China for the automotive manufacturers:
