Looking to buy a new or used car - something i can drive for a really long time and not have to worry about reliability issues - but im still looking for that sporty feel. Something with power, something practical Any suggestions? I currently drive an '03 3 series with 100k+ miles.

Audit A4 2.0T?
Acura TL Type S?

Thanks!

Agreed Infiniti G35 or G37 or a 07-08 Pontiac G8 GT if You want what is really just a 4-door Camaro SS

I wouldn't get the TL-S. The styling is just weird, and it turns like a ship.

Infiniti G37S with 6MT would be my pick. But the new 7-speed automatic is pretty good also.

VW GLI Sedan or possibly a 4-door GTI. Also, Audi A3 but that will probably top 25k easy.

A low mileage Audi quattro would be nice if snowy driving matters. Stick shift and certified get extra points.

lol turns like a ship.

I agree, I never could get used to Acura's new styling. That front grill needs to die. but to each their own

Camaro LT V6 would be great if you wanna feel " sporty ". The reliability of the chevy camaro is not that good though. The Infinity is a great choice.

I second the VW's GLI for a sedan...or a GTI four door if you don't want a trunk. Sporty handling, good reliability, and very high fun to drive factor. You'd also have that same engine you're thinking about with the Audi A3, A4.

Why ditch the BMW though? How many more years are you wanting to drive the car? I'd assume the 3 series could easily last to the 200,000 mark...unless you're finding that repair bills are starting to get kind of steep.

The Pontiac G8 is a great car by the way also. Would love to own one, but I'm not in the market for another year and by then I can't imagine paying ~$25k for a 2008 model year car.
