This is what I think whenever I see someone plodding along the freeway or struggling through the city streets in some older and terminally bland or even brand new and yet still terminally bland Malibu or Cobalt or Taurus, Sebring or Nitro or Mustang or Corvette or Neon or hell, almost any car from any American manufacturer whatsoever...

Detroit must die / American cars are still uniformly god-awful. Why save them?

Im surprised that a-hole found the time to put down his d_ildo to actually type that. What an arse. I can guarantee that idiot cruises around in a baby blue VW Cabriolet or something equally lame. He doesnt know the first thing about cars and its readily apparent. How the heck, er, WHY the heck did he even bother writing that? Better yet, which one of his boneheaded bosses actually allowed him to write about something he has no clue about? I bet if you ask him about his "Silver Bullet" youll actually get something worthwhile out of that creep. Chump, leave the car articles to people who actually know a thing or two about cars, mmmmkay? Thanks.

You may now resume assaulting your "Silver Bullet", good sir.

That was a terribly hateful article. While American autos have had a slump... so have all car manufacturers at some point, and the sad thing is that its not been the engineers destroying American auto... it has been the management. Now that American autos are back on top of the quality charts it may be too late due to poor decision making by the head honchos.

Americans have done enormous amounts for evolution of the automobile of which that hateful man knows nothing of. He doesn't take into account American fleet vehicles or trucks or really anything for that matter he just dismisses it all as putrid waste... I can't believe he thought his article would make sense to anyone.

So based on that we can dismiss all the engineering as junk? I would like to ask Marky boy if he even knows how an internal combustion operates...
