Advertisements

Any auto makers slogans that you feel stand out in portraying vehicles they produce particularly accurately?

For example-

The old pre GM, SAAB "find your own road" campaign represented the brand and it's buyers in a very honest accurate way in my opinion.

Also

What automotive advertising campaign slogan in your opinion is/was ironic or tremendously questionable in light of the vehicles in their line up or drama/litigation the company later found itself in?

From the 1950s:

There's a Ford in your future.

When better cars are built, Buick will build them.

Ask the man who owns one (Packard)

See the USA in your Chevrolet

Volkswagen does it...again.

Siddenly it's gonna dawn on you, Datsun saves.

Get your hands on a Toyota. You'll never let go.

Opel. The mini brute.

American Motors means more for Americans.

Honda. We make it simple.

Subaru. Inexpensive and built to stay that way.

Ford has a better idea.

Corolla, the new one from Toyota.
