One reason I love the Volvo is because it's classic, but if they produced it exactly the same with suttle details improved-better gas milage, and mabye newer safety- I would be first in line.
I knew a guy back in the day that had 2 of these. One was one that he bought new and the other was one he bought that had been wrecked and he fixed it back. Pretty quick little trucks.
Long list, but Nash Rambler with modern upgrades. I am biased when it comes to cars from the 40's and 50's. They had personality, and soul. (generally speaking). Cars today are boring to look at. (generally speaking)
I actually had a dream a few years ago, that Ford came out with a "New Bronco". It was basically the frame of a shortbed, shortcab 4x4 F-250 Super Duty - with 2 doors, and a removable rear shell.. like a shorter Excursion, with high ground clearance and BF Goodrich mud terrains. It had the 5.4 V8, and the gas V10. Ah... what a dream..
A true GTO, with a pure Pontiac RamAir V engine, (that's RAM AIR 5 for the ones who can not understand) 3 deuces and a new 6 speed.
And a new obamaless GM !!!!
The Corvair. That was such a cool little car. My brothers first car was a 1957 Studebaker Golden Hawk, what an amazing car that was! Supercharged 289 V8. That thing ran! Ah, nostalgia!
