1964 Ford Galaxie 500
4 on the floor with a 390
Blue convertible
I was 18 to 21 years old, often drove it very stupidly. Rode around a lot with my first love. Traded it in for a 1971 red Pinto. Still have one photo of it, but first love long gone.
Back in the 70's I had a 66 International Scout, 4 cyl with 4 speed. Go anywhere truck. 4x4 got 25 mpg. Sold it later when I bought a new truck.
In '95 picked up a '79 Jeep CJ7, straight 6 with 3 speed stick. Did a frame off restoration, replaced body. Sold it in '03. Wish it was still in the driveway.
I miss my 86 Camaro IROC...but would never drive it today and be lumped into the "redneck" catagory.
I also miss my 95 Dodge Ram, but would never want again for the same reason as above mentioned car.
I do miss my first car, a 1984 Honda CRX. 50MPG and could park it on a dime. Would love to have that one back!

My old 75 Nova 4 door 350, my 71 Nova 2 door 350 4 speed, my 71 Chevelle 396 big block, my virgin 1 owner straight as an arrow 84 Regal, my 2690 lb w/o driver 84 V8 powered S-10, my hard to find anymore 81 Mercury Capri, my really nice hard to find 97 S-10 short bed reg cab that had the 4.3/auto and was cherry for a 10 year old truck....
I wouldn't mind having my 78 Cougar back that needed paint and body but the interior looked like new and the R-12 a/c still worked...any my 86 Cutlass 2 door that was my cousins....
Because sadly people who drive 1975-92 Camaros are thought of as white trash that live in trailer parks and have mullets and wear wife beaters and still think Def Leppards the best band in the world. Probably the same goes for a Ram or a mid 70's Ford or Chevy truck.
1975 Don Ness built Pro Stock Pontiac Astre. Even made cover of Hot Rod Magazine. Flipped it forward on the roof at Gateway when something locked up in the rearend and snapped the driveshaft into 4 pieces, one of which dug into the pavement and connected to the rearend. that was in 1986. I knew it wasn't going to look good after sliding thru the lights on the roof and looking toward the starting line at 127 mph.
First question when anyone got to me? What ET and mph was it? Still ran a 9.936 at 127.482 mph. Beautiful Ultra Pearl white base with Bright Radiant Red and pearled Navy Blue stripes. It was a Bicentinial theme Pontiac had done for the racer who ran it first. Yeah, i miss that one.
My first new car. I loved that it was made for short people. Finally a car where I could easily reach the pedals AND see out the back window. Loved the polymer dent free side panels. Sold the car after 17 years to my sister with 105,000 miles on it and it's still running very well. Lots of fun memories in that car.
