Hi all, I went to the DMV in Durham twice to take my road test. Moderator cut: Removed Address

Both times the testers were very rude and hostile, and failed me both times. The first time I took it I admit I needed more practice, so I tried to make sure I would do well the second time and before I took the second test I did two major road trips, one to Florida which I drove eight hours of, and another trip to Texas where I drove 18 hours. I practice all the rules of the road, and the reason I didn't pass the second time according to my instructor were a few very minor reasons, such as that I looked too far left at the stop sign. Some of the reasons she gave weren't true or accurate, she said I was jerky at the stop signs, but I've had almost 3 years experience driving and everyone who I drive with says I'm a very good driver.

So does anyone know of any DMV's in the Raleigh area where they test fairly? I'm taking my third test, but at a different DMV on Monday. Answers would be greatly appreciated!

You'd get better responses if you posted this in the RDU sub-forum rather than here.

maybe they compliment you because they are concerned that angering a poor driver could be detrimental to their health (as passengers)?

You should be able to pass if you do the whole test without looking at your phone .

I'm just messing with ya, keep tryin till you get it!

I'm guessing the OP might not be back as she posted the same question in the Raleigh forum.

Thanks. Does anyone know what the limit is on how many times you can take the NC road test? Is there a limit? And is it always a five day waiting period between taking tests?
