The US is on its way to making 1984 a reality. Well it already is if you think about it. The country is controlled by the military industrial complex and driven by powerful corporate interest groups. The population is deliberately kept ignorant, dumbed down and distracted by being fed daily propaganda on channels like Fox news. This is a disturbing trend, and all efforts must be undertaken to ensure it is reversed.

I would say the country is controlled by government bureaucrats and politicians. They have our money, our freedom and control how we live our lives.
Fox controls nobody. People choose to watch Fox just like MSNBC. Watching those channels is not controlling anybody. Our government is controlling the people, and telling them how to live their lives.

If you have been to the US, you would know there are huge swaths of land that is quite rural and would make constant surveillance quite impossible. Oh and complete hogwash about our country controlled by the military industrial complex.
Besides, I was always under the impression that Europe had much more cameras to spy on its citizens.

Fox is just a tool like all of the talk show & radio hosts & our politicans are puppets for the true owners.
When 43% of the wealth in this country is owned by 1%, there is nothing they wouldn't do to maintain control of the rest of us.
