Not interested in any other airline. If that forces your discomfort guess you should adjust.
It's not an issue of discomfort, it's one of basic logic - your maniacal obsession with Southwest suggests that it's some sort of outlier, indeed an extreme outlier. But it's not. It's just an ordinary modern American airline.
So you want it all - to bash Southwest, but to do so in the nonsensical vacuum where no other airlines are offered up for context. Indeed, you openly state that you are uninterested in that context.
Thus, your ravings about Southwest say absolutely nothing about Southwest but say rather a lot about you.
Whomever in the media that started the use of the word "tarmac", to describe airport movement areas that they're either too lazy or stupid to learn the proper terminology of, should be tarmacked and feathered.
Runways, Taxiways, Ramp Areas. Know the difference, or else use "tarmac" and reveal yourself as a fanboy and poser on aviation forums.
Its a runway, taxiway, I agree. Yes, there are wannabe's out there, and I dont know anyone in this thread so cant aim my post at any one person, but am just agreeing about wannabe's out there who 'think' they are geniuses. Again, please note Im not aiming this at any one person. I like Southwest, and am a member of the points with them (Frontier as well) and would continue flying with them. When there's an issue with a plane on the news (which really isnt all that often), whether at takeoff, or mechanical, or landing, whatever, it happens to all airlines, not just the one.

Let that mind of yours roll on twisted into knots trying to talk an American out of their opinion with insults, slurs and specious logic. I bet your'e just a gaggle of clowns around the campfire.
If her husband was having issues she probably shouldn't have gone on a girls weekend to party. She could have also gotten off the aircraft. I like your determination in digging up months old stories from southwest only, further builds your credibility

Since you don't know this, anyone can become suicidal within hours or minutes and the signs and symptoms are often masked or undisclosed. Get with the program....warning signs of suicide are all over the TV these days. You may want to look into it to get the correct information rather than judging this poor woman whose loss was catastrophic. She could not get off the plane it was already on taxi and the flight crew did NOTHING to alert the authorities. South West Airlines the new "normal". Someones in trouble? "not our job".
