This was long overdue, no more clowns slamming their seats all the way back which decreases your person space when you’re tray is down and you’re eating or on our laptop.
Of course the "world revolves around me" people are going to gripe about this move because, you know, the passenger behind you should be uncomfortable because YOU want to be slightly more relaxed.
How about going back to 32-34inch seat pitch they had on these same planes for decades. 30 inch pitch is inhumane and then charge people to pay to sit in Economy comfort to sit in 34" pitch seats.
The whole industry will be Spirit and Froniter type seats soon. Zero recline and sitting on a padded piece of plastic

Midwest Express Airlines entire fleet was 2X2 leather seating. They served roast beef and lobster dinners. But they were best known for baking chocolate chip cookies onboard.
And they're long out of business.
You get what you pay for and the market has spoken. Suck it up baby and deal with it. Or pony up for First Class.
What you think you'll be saving on airfare will eventually cost you in chiropractor bills if you're a frequent traveler.
Considering how many people either sleep or watch movies on the in-seat screen, and how few people actually work on laptops, maybe it would make more sense to leave the seats reclined and give passengers the option of putting them upright?

No way I can pay $500-800 more for 1st class ticket for a 2hr flight. Now if I took Frontier or Spirit again for anything over 2hrs, I might pay for the Stretch seats, as those coach seats are bondage after 1hr of being in them.
32-34" pitch was a common thing forever, but the airlines decided, lets make EVERY row on the plane uncomfortable so we can squeeze in 1 or may 2 rows tops.
I'm trying to decide what is more annoying. The reclined seat in my face or the kid behind me kicking my seat for two hours.
