Southwest flight cancellations: why?

Not sure why employees would want more reward points (hotels and cars, I guess...) BUT... the employees are probably fed up with traveling!, especially FLYING

I like the triple time pay!!! There was recently an article about $100k+ hourly Airline employees. (including OT), and FA's making $150k+ w/ OT.

They deserve whatever they can get at the moment.

A few yrs of 30+% OT earnings will drive a quicker retirement. Maybe by then they can enjoy 'travel' again.

Expect Customer Service and available flights / perk to significantly decline (for all of us).

I just got back from New Orleans on American and was thankful that there were no cancellations or major delays. I will say that the FAs were friendly and helpful. I was worried about getting stranded at DFW for my connection but that didn't happen. The A319 and A320 s were fine as well as the B737 ( probably a Max) with the extra big overhead bins. Internet didn't work as well on a couple of the flights.
I normally fly SWA as I have a SWA visa but had voucher for a flight to Longview which I hadn't used.
