I have an internship this summer in the Baltimore area and I am looking for recommendations as to where to look! My start date is in May and I will be there the entire summer.

If this forum were better organized and had a moderator...
this subject would have been made a sticky by now.

Julie: You start with the school and their staff which SHOULD have lots of basic information for you.
Way at the top of that list will be the suggestion to live NEAR the school (or new job).
Because you're a temporary resident... the furnished sublets and furnished shares are most practical.
They SHOULD have a list of vetted people with space like a bulletin board; many with the school in some way.

Have you tried airbnb.com? I rented a place from there when I came to Baltimore for a summer internship.
Another idea is to sublet from a student who is leaving the area for the summer--Craigslist is a good place to look.

I interned there this past summer. Stayed at 9 East 33rd for a 2 months. Up at Johns Hopkins University. The is a FB page for housing sublets. Good area with the college and student type places nearby. Zipcars right there and good buses. Relatively safe.
I was extended so i jumped to a Airbnb in Little Italy for a few weeks then Hampden. Really liked both locations.
