Look, I understand how effed up the political system is in the United States right now, but, if you're registered vote please do your civic duty as a responsible American.

You'll see me at the polls tomorrow, for sure.

Hopefully there will be more company than during the primaries. Seriously, the place could have been 5 times busier and there still would have been open booths.

I thought that it was just in my voting district [that the polls were dead].

Yep.

Not crazy about my choices, but I enjoy the ability to harass my local rep too much not to vote. Nothing makes those little buggers listen more than someone who votes in each and every election. LMAO!

When I turned 18, my dad said I have to do three things - register with the Selective Service, serve jury duty if called and vote in every eligible election (exercise my franchise). I'll be voting shortly after I leave work. For the first time, I have changed my registration to Dem to be able to vote in a primary. Now I will be writing in a candidate or two, voting my conscience. Baltimore and MD needs some balance. Even if my vote is only a protest, protests are mounting and at some point teh status quo in town and in the State House will have to listen and hopefully abide.
