Hi. This site is great! I stumbled upon it somehow and am very happy with all the information. My friend and I will be moving to Baltimore shortly. We are females in our mid-20s who like to go out, shop, etc.
We were thinking Inner Harbor or Federal Hill. Any other ideas? Positives and negatives?

We like big, secure, buildings that are nice but reasonable. I want to make sure we are in a good area both in terms of safety and fun.

Welcome to any advice or ideas!!! Thank you in advance.

Default Welcome

One of the best ways to scope trendy apartment complexes is to pick up an issue of The Urbanite and go through the ads. Other than that, do some research about the areas you listed and Mount Vernon. We have had zillions of discussions about pros and cons. In the end, it's your call, depending on your budget and preferences. Use the search function on this site.
