I may be called for jury duty (I have to call tomorrow).

Can someone recommend parking?

Last year when I was called, I parked in a garage on Fayette St. and it cost me $20.00 bucks for the day.

Depending on where you're coming from, it might make sense to take light rail or Metro, preferably from one of the stops with free parking.

I agree with sobo16 on this one. While you could park in Mercy's garage and be quite safe, I think that they charge around 25 bucks for the day unless you have your ticket stamped by an office in the hospital building. I can't think of economical parking near the courts.

I will have to chime in with a "me too" on the metro idea. If you live anywhere near it, the Charles Center stop is pretty much right there withi a city block or two of the courthouse. Round trip ticket is, what, $3.20?? You'll pay more than that in gas just turning the ignition and driving a few miles down the road, these days! Plus, it's just nice to not have to stress about "will I find a parking place in time,", etc. This is pretty much my ritual every year and a half for jury duty, including a nice walk to Lexington Market for lunch....
