Default looking for area for photography

I am looking for somewhere I was lost in last week. Sounds crazy I know, but it was a really good area for some graffitti photography. Too bad I didn't have my camera

I remember starting off West near Mosher and Gilmor and I think I crossed into East Baltimore. I went under an overpass right into this area. The only street name I vaugely remember was Lanvale, but not Lanvale on the West side.

If anyone is familiar with the area around Archer and Parsons in Queens NY it reminded me of that. There was an abandoned plaza and I'm thinking a railroad track. The houses were connected, brown brick, but much wider than most of the typical row houses. It was by far the worst of the city I've seen in terms of upkeep. It was very desolate, but distinct from much of the city. I think I remember a warehouse or 2 if I'm not mistaken.

I know that is like all over the city, but I'm pretty sure I was in East Baltimore as I know West Baltimore very well. If anyone can figure it out let me know please. It was a great area for the shots I'm trying to get. Thankss

Could you be talking about E. Lanvale? Runs between Pat Park Ave and Ensor, east of Greenmount Cemetary.

Greenmount Cemetery is a magnificent place to take photos.

There's also a small graveyard, near U of MD, but not the one where Poe rests(though that one is pretty picturesque, too)-it's kept locked, but can be accessed by appointment.

It's nice because of the limited traffic there, little vandalism has occured, it's so green and peaceful in the warm months. Many famous people are interred there.

Might be worth a look-and you can combine the shoot with a trip to Lexington Market!
