Hello all,
I am currently living in Minneosota, and have recently got a Job in Maine. I am thinking of moving to either Belfast, or Bangor.
I have heard of some drug problems in Bangor. I was hoping that someone from the area would tell me some of the safest neighbourhoods.
I am a 30 yr old guy, and will be moving with my girlfriend. We were thinking of moving close to downtown.
I would highly appreciate any suggestions.

If all things were equal (travel time to job), I'd choose Belfast.

Welcome

Find an apartment near the job.

Then after you are here and settling in, you can explore the surrounding areas. Within a year, you will have found where you prefer to live.

I can not judge where the best place for you would be. Only you can do that.

At the end of a year, as your lease expires; then you can move again. But this time you will be moving into the 'best' place.

Good luck
